Abstract

|
The goal of treatment of osteoporosis is to prevent fractures by maintaining bone health. Treatment strategies to reduce the risk of fractures can be largely divided into osteoporosis medication, healthy lifestyle establishment and control of external factors, such as fall prevention. Representative of osteoporosis medication is supply of calcium and vitamin D, use of inhibitors of bone resorption and bone formation accelerators.Recent guidelines for osteoporosis medication, especially in the elderly should be careful to evaluate the points.
